Legal Career
Chris Junga brings more than 25 years of legal and administrative experience, including an extensive career as a Public Defender ensuring equitable access to legal resources for all. Chris has first-chaired over 100 jury trials to verdict, representing clients in complex, high-stakes cases where lives and futures were on the line. This depth of courtroom experience reflects exceptional litigation skill, sound judgment, and an unwavering commitment to fairness and due process.
Community Involvement
Public service has been the foundation of Chris Junga’s career. Beyond the courtroom, he has remained committed to supporting individuals and families throughout the community. He has mentored aspiring attorneys, contributed to local initiatives, and worked to expand access to justice—reflecting a belief that the legal system should serve and strengthen the community as a whole.
Qualifications
A resident of Franklin County for most his 25 year legal career, Chris' qualifications are grounded in discipline, perspective, and a deep respect for the law. A first-generation college and law school graduate raised in a working-class family in Toledo, Ohio he worked his way forward through determination and hard work. That experience shaped a practical, balanced approach to decision-making and a commitment to treating every person with dignity, fairness, and impartiality.
